What is the NATO Innovation Challenge?
What is NOICE?
The NATO Open Innovation Conference & Expo is an annual event hosted by NATO ACT that
brings innovation practitioners throughout the Alliance together like never before. It offers a unique platform for military and civilian innovation practitioners to network, meet and learn about what it means to be an innovator in the NATO innovation landscape.
Why NOICE?
The NATO Open Innovation Conference & Expo brings liveliness to the ever growing innovator community in the Alliance. The acronym NOICE highlights the purpose of the event: make the
NATO innovation movement heard and foster its growth and further development.
Where does it come from?
What happens at NOICE?
Through keynotes from senior NATO leaders, attendees will learn about NATOs priorities for innovation, receive first-hand information from NATO innovation entities and have the opportunity to directly engage in discussions with innovation leaders at FOGO-level.
During the EXPO, Nations have the opportunity to showcase innovation projects and their own industrial collaborations and actively engage with the visiting innovation community to seek collaboration opportunities, expand their network of potential stakeholders and learn from experiences of their brothers-in-arms.
NATO ACT embraces NOICE as a key platform in fostering the innovation community and offers a variety of workshops aimed at honing skills essential for innovation in the NATO military environment. Through fast-paced and interactive sessions under professional guidance, attendees can learn the ins and outs of being an innovator, while working on real cases based
on the latest developments in the Alliance.
